 un run or 5K. <br /><br />The fun run is approximately 1 km, untimed, and w
 ill be on the path under the shaded trees just prior to the 5k. This event 
 is not intended for competition, but joy and fun. All ages are welcome and 
 the path is stroller-friendly! Parents (or other responsible adults) can ru
 n free with their child, however finisher medal will only be for registered
  participants. Walk, jog, run, skip, or dance along with others in our comm
 unity. Prizes for best costume(s) and maybe other fun awards! <br /><br />T
 he 5K run will include chip-timed bibs, and the route is along both the bea
 ch and the paths. This race is for those who want to compete amongst other 
 racers and/or against themselves (a perfect place to set your personal best
  time!), or who want a longer duration run/walk than the fun run. Please le
 t those who are competing line up closest to the starting line. Finisher me
 dals included for each participant.
