 un run or 5K. \n\nThe fun run is approximately 1 km, untimed, and will be o
 n the path under the shaded trees just prior to the 5k. This event is not i
 ntended for competition, but joy and fun. All ages are welcome and the path
  is stroller-friendly! Parents (or other responsible adults) can run free w
 ith their child, however finisher medal will only be for registered partici
 pants. Walk, jog, run, skip, or dance along with others in our community. P
 rizes for best costume(s) and maybe other fun awards! \n\nThe 5K run will i
 nclude chip-timed bibs, and the route is along both the beach and the paths
 . This race is for those who want to compete amongst other racers and/or ag
 ainst themselves (a perfect place to set your personal best time!), or who 
 want a longer duration run/walk than the fun run. Please let those who are 
 competing line up closest to the starting line. Finisher medals included fo
 r each participant.
