Dog Tales After School
Is your student struggling with reading? Does he or she need to build confidence and social skills? Then bring your child to the library to read with our therapy dogs! These sweet pooches are specially trained to sit and listen to children read to them. They provide cuddles, quiet encouragement, and just the right amount of attention for shy and reluctant readers. They also make the best companions for individuals with special needs. All ages are welcome to register!
Build reading confidence one wag at a time! Kids can read aloud to friendly therapy dogs in a relaxed, judgment-free environment that makes reading fun and encourages a love of books.
